Okay so if you don’t believe me then I’ll share one of my craziest and hilarious bungee jumping experiences.
My Bungee Jumping experience
I was in my 8th grade when I went to Rishikesh.
Rishikesh offers a mix of excellence and experience to its guests and along these lines, I was unable to quit heading to such a heaven. I set off from Delhi around 11 pm in the evening, and arrived at Rishikesh toward the beginning of the day around 5am and the scene extended across like a material. Subsequent to visiting the Ghats on The Holy Ganges, I was prepared for some experience.
Being an adventure and travel enthusiast I knew that Bungee Jumping in Rishikesh is one of the best activities to do here. So quicker without thinking a lot and wasting much of my time we checked in our hotel, got refreshed, had our breakfast and went for the bungee jumping Adventure. Because I went in the holiday season, there were a lot of tourists and people waiting on the bungee Jumping line. So with that I could see that it’s not just me who is crazily waiting for the amazing experience.
Before starting about my experience let me tell you that The scene for best bungee Jumping in Rishikesh is situated in Mohanchatti with the name, Jumpin Heights. It is controlled by ex-armed force officials and the leap aces are from New Zealand, the Adventure Capital of the world. Jumpin Heights include India’s most elevated bungee jumping in Rishikesh with level of 83 meters. Jumpin Heights is open the entire day, aside from Tuesdays. These are likewise viewed as the absolute best spots for bungee bouncing in India.
Imagine, jumping from 83 m just gives You Goosebumps. We were waiting in the line for my turn to come and as soon as I entered this spot from where I was going to jump 83 M came. I was tied with rope in my legs and hands along with a helmet which was on my head as we were made to wear all these for our safety precautions. To be honest yes I was excited but at the same time I was even nervous because it was my first time jumping from such a great height, actually it was my first time being on such a great height so I was nervous as well as excited both at the same time. You don’t jump from a height of 83 m everyday, right?
So starting with what experience I had while jumping from a great height.
After I was tied with all the safety measures I was ready to be thrown down to 83 m. The moment I knew that I was going to be thrown down, my heart rate went to 120 and that too, it was so loud that I could hear and feel my heart beating fast. I was just counting in my mind 1, 2, 3 and OHHHHH I was pushed down. Me, falling so fast just like a stone falls when it is thrown down from a great height. It was so fast and sudden that I felt my heart would burst out of my chest.
The moment I was ‘jumping’ or falling down it was so fast that I couldn’t put myself straight and I was bending here and there. Although when you are falling down its just a few seconds but those few seconds are the one where you don’t know or can’t control what’s happening to you. I was literally turned upside down while I was falling. But I didn’t know that and for an instance I thought that the world went upside down. Everything was upside down and I started screaming ‘mom, why is everything upside down’, ‘mom take me back, I want to go’, ‘please I don’t want to do this anymore’, ‘everything is upside down, help’. OH MY GODDD!! Although now, when you are reading this, it may sound silly and funny; but at that time it was feeling like a threat to me. For a couple of seconds I thought the whole world was upside down and my life is going to change completely.
But then I was bouncing back up to 83 m, and was thankfully returning to my original state. The moment I was going back up I realised what stupidity I did and was laughing endlessly. When I reached up my Mom and everyone asking why were you screaming and now why are you laughing, are you crazy? And in my head I was thinking that yes I am crazy for sometime but now I am okay and describe my whole story of what happened to me at that time.
And as expected, everyone were laughing with their hearts out, rolling on the floor, and ofcourse thinking of what a hilarious, crazy and stupid moment that would be for me at that time. Me agreeing to that, was not able to stop laughing. Even now when I think about it I am not able to control myself from laughing. But to be honest it was a really amazing experience altho it just lasted for a few seconds, but, as you know the best moments are always short.
