As the world is developing at a faster rate where women power is also moving towards the progressiv terms, the sheer impact is clearly visible in the business sector where on the other hand the notable increase in the number of cases of sexual harassment is also on the rise. Therefore, to ensure the safety of women in the industrial environment, POSH ICC Training was launched, where a separate POSH Training India segment was established under the POSH act of 2013, with a goal to build a secure and a safe environment for women in a workplace environment.
This POSH Training for Employees has a mandatory measure, where every state has to ensure the training process worked on in their corporate environment, where the employee are given sheer training to b aware of the detailed consequences of sexual harassment or any other activity inside the workplace. Hence, to ensure the safety of women, a clear harassment-free environment was created with an obligation included on the employer to start the motion of awareness among the employees where the matter is also included as an internal committee situation for filling the complaints and then redressing them accordingly. Thus, as the involvement of the covid-19 situation came into action, the organizations undertook the decision to move the training process into the segment of online training, which raised a series of questions on the organization’s way of handling and how much the training would impact the individuals. Questions such as will the workforce be able to commute the message, the repeat cost of each session, how many sessions would be required, should there be separate enablement sessions for the IC members and so on.
However, there were many organizations, where the online training process was conducted rather than putting the situation into a halt. But, online training can be concluded as a better choice rather than putting a stop as the distributive workforce can remotely log in and attend the session without any issues of time and place. As the sessions would be recorded and then released, employees can easily join in where the training program would already be available and they can get the access to it anytime they want. The training courses which are once recorded and then released mostly have a one-time investment plan, where a large number of people can attend the sessions at any time without any additional cost in charge. Also, online the availability of recording and uploading the program abiding the convenient language option is also available so that every individual can learn and understand in their native language or in whichever language they may be interested in. As these sessions are conducted online, the issues of sexual harassment cases which are witnessed online as well can also be taken into consideration and can be included too in the programs and can all be covered in a single take.
