HOW INSTAGRAM TRYING TO RID OF FOOD BLOGGERS (AND WHAT YOU CAN DO TO SURVIVE)
Although HOW INSTAGRAM IS Trying to Get RID OF FOOD BLOGGERS may seem provocative, it is the only way to explain what’s happening in the mysterious world that is Instagram. Although the title may be tongue-in-cheek, I’m confident today’s blog post will be the most severe and prolonged series. Read on if you are a blogger full-time or considering blogging as a career! Although most bloggers have many income streams, Instagram-sponsored content is essential in earning a living as a full-time blogger. click here
What is SPONSORED CONTENT INSTAGRAM?
Many companies partner with bloggers on social media to reach their target market. I have promoted organic fruits, vegetables, and superfoods on Instagram for a fixed monetary fee. My followers are primarily female foodies who prefer plant-based, healthy foods. It’s a perfect match – I can tell my followers about the foods I believe in, brands get people who are more likely to love what they offer, and I make money to continue providing free content to my readers.
BLOGGERS NEED TO DISCOVER NOW WHEN CONTENT CAN BE SPONSORED
March 2017, law-abiding bloggers/influencers were required to disclose to their followers that sponsored content was being used by using the hashtag #ad #sp #sponsored in their Instagram posts. Although I did this before the law was implemented, I was happy to accept it. It’s so important to be open with your followers. In my book, honesty is the only acceptable standard. BTW If your car’s steering wheel starts to feel dirty, you can use a steering wheel cleaner to clean it. This will help keep the surface clean and free from dirt and dust buildup.
Tips to Survive Instagram – The Little Plantation
INSTAGRAM CAN NOW MIND, AFFECT, AND CHANGE IF YOUR FOLLOWERS SEE YOUR SPONSORED CONTENT!
Instagram now allows you to use the #ad hashtag to find sponsored content and monitor its impact on your followers. This is essential information, my friends, so pay attention!
In other words, using the hashtag #ads on Instagram can decrease the reach of your Instagram posts. This is true according to my experience. It’s the algorithms at work, only completely and utterly against you, your brand, and your sponsored content.
WHY WOULD INSTAGRAM REDUCE THE VISIBILITY OF YOUR SPONSORED CONTENT CONTENT?
This is the million-dollar question. If you know anything about capitalism and business, you will be able to answer the question. It’s all because of money. Instagram offers brands the opportunity to pay directly for ads on the social media platform. This has happened more often since 2015, when Instagram started doing this. This has been happening more or less since late 2015. It makes total business sense, right! click here
Where do bloggers fit in? If brands reach bloggers instead of directly to Instagram to promote their products, what does that mean for Instagram? You have less capital! We have less money to play with! Step in Instagram’s ability to sabotage/block/decrease the reach of your sponsored content and TADA Instagram back in the game.
WHERE DO YOU LEAVE THIS PRO-BLOGGER?
Let’s be clear: Why would a brand pay you to feature their products if your followers can’t see your post? Simply put, they won’t. Influencer endorsement is compelling and unlikely to disappear. It is, at least for now, more potent than annoying install ads. This is something that most brands are aware of, and it’s not all doom and gloom. However, I am curious if we could command a meaningful rate if the reach for sponsored content continues its decline. It will decline, as we know from Instagram. click here
A WARNING! Some bloggers don’t use #ad, #sp, etc. On their sponsored posts on Instagram. Although I understand why they do this, I don’t recommend it. You will lose credibility in the end. You could also be fined. It’s not fun and not worth it.

SO, HOW DO YOU CONQUER THIS LATEST INSTAGRAM TWIST? AND HOW CAN YOU STILL PAY YOUR BILLS!
Before I go on to the happy ending, I want to stress that this is a significant change, and – if I am right – things will get more complicated for pro-bloggers. There are no quick fixes, easy solutions, or shortcuts. I’m sorry to break it to you guys, but…
Vote with your feet!
Do you know how often I post something to the blog, and people go on the long journey to read it, then return to Instagram to write on THERE about how much they love my post? Because we depend on Instagram for everything, it’s easy, convenient, and quick. Instagram is like a 3-hour coffee shop meeting, where you have a meaningful conversation with your friend.
As long as we continue to feed Instagram as a platform and not nourish real connections with bloggers who provide us with free content, it will be harder for these bloggers to survive. click here
TAKE AWAY. I’m not suggesting you abandon Instagram. God no! However, I suggest you stop using it excessively and focus on building meaningful relationships with content creators. This includes visiting their blogs, meeting them in person, sharing their content, etc.
